PIN-code is required when I turn on my Iridium phone

If you are asked to enter a PIN-code after you turn on your Iridium phone, it means that the SIM-card in the phone is protected by a PIN code. All SIM-cards are supplied with the protection turned off. The default PIN code is 1111. To protect your Iridium phone and account from unauthorized use we suggest that you activate PIN protection and set up a new PIN-code for your SIM-card (consult the phone's user manual).
